History

Pinto Brasil path is being created since 1991. Specialized in metalworking and highly oriented to the automotive industry, Pinto Brasil meets the highest demanding standards, thus being a preferred supplier to some of the largest companies in automotive industry.

Nowadays, the company operates in the design, development and production of Industrial Solutions for Assembly Lines and Intralogistics with a wide portfolio that respond to the needs of its partners and clients.

The commitment towards research and development is one of the pillars of sustainability of the company. Innovation Strategy

PIBRA’s Innovation Strategy is based on the alignment between business objectives and innovation processes, ensuring their full integration across the Management System. This strategy aims to create sustainable value, foster creativity, protect the organization’s intellectual assets, and promote the standardization of internal processes, making them more efficient and consistent. The involvement of all relevant stakeholders is considered fundamental along this journey.

Structures

Innovation Committee, periodic project evaluation meetings, performance monitoring through indicators, and processes for ideation, selection, development, and implementation.

Responsibilities focus on:

Coordination of the strategy and monitoring of projects. 

R&D, IMS team, Production, Commercial, and Project Management. 

Approval of priority projects, resource allocation, results analysis, and innovation budget. 

Each annual innovation cycle will include quarterly milestones for reviewing ideas, development, and implementation. Specific projects will have defined timelines for each phase, from ideation through commercialization or internal implementation.

Monitoring and measurement are based on the indicators defined for Innovation in the document SGI_INDICADORES PROGRAMA GESTÃO. The evaluation of results involves periodic reviews of the financial, operational, and strategic impact of projects, as well as the analysis of risks and opportunities.

Innovation protection at PIBRA relies on patents, confidentiality agreements, and intellectual property registrations.

Communication is carried out through reports and internal meetings, workshops, and presentations to stakeholders.

All documentation is based on the detailed registration of ideas, projects, lessons learned, and financial/technical results.

External environment analysis allows the company to:

- Identify market trends, emerging technologies, regulations, and competition;
- Assess external opportunities and threats that may impact innovation projects;
- Integrate this analysis into the innovation portfolio for strategic decision-making.

Management Policy
The Management Policy established by PIBRA demonstrates it's commitment to implementing the requirements arising from normative references, being disseminated in accordance with the internally established Communication Plan to all interested parties.
The suitability of the policy to the purpose and context of the organization, as well as the evolution and improvement of the Management System (SG) are analyzed based on Management Objectives established for the Processes of the said Management System.
The understanding and adaptation of this Policy, as well as the evolution and improvement of the Management System are periodically analyzed in the context of the review of the Management System.
