PIBRA showcases industrial digitalization solutions at Productronica 2025

PIBRA participated in Productronica 2025, one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to electronics production technologies, held in Munich, Germany. The company’s participation highlighted developments carried out within WP16 - Transformative Programme - Area E - Industry - UP - Scalable platform for the valorisation and life - cycle extension of industrial equipment , part of the PRODUTECH R3 Mobilising Agenda.

The Industry - UP project aims to develop a holistic operational framework applicable to both new and existing industrial equipment, enabling higher utilisation rates, dynamic maintenance strategies and an extended equipment life cycle. The approach integrates Design for Remanufacture (DfX) strategies and is demonstrated through several industrial case studies, ensuring applicability across multiple manufacturing sectors.

During the event, PIBRA presented developments related to PPS 82 - Scalable platform for the valorisation and life - cycle extension of industrial equipment and PPS 83 - Internal logistics system.

PPS 82 focuses on the Industry - UP platform, a digital solution that enables direct connection to real-time data collected from industrial equipment. The platform integrates decision - support tools for maintenance, repair and remanufacturing, contributing to extended equipment life cycles and improved return on industrial capital investments.

PPS 83 demonstrates the digital integration of several sub - equipment units within an advanced logistics ecosystem designed to support storage, transport and integrated logistics flow management. By connecting these sub - equipment systems to the Industry - UP platform, it becomes possible to monitor performance in real time, prevent failures and anticipate maintenance needs.

Participation in Productronica 2025 provided an opportunity to present these solutions to an international audience of industry experts, companies and potential partners, reinforcing the role of the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda in promoting digitalisation, sustainability and competitiveness in the manufacturing industry.
